Great news for Pulaski Travel Agents: CCRA Announced that they will soon be paying 15% commissions for hotels booked on CCRAtravel.com. Not only are you going to recieve more commissions, but you will now receive them sooner. They will now pay commissions weekly. The new program is called Commission/Express and you can learn more by clicking the link.
As some of you know, I have promoted using CCRAtravel.com side by side with hotelsta.com for easy commissions and easy comparison. Read my previous post on hotelsta.com about how to use that site most effectively.
Go to CCRAtravel.com to sign up. There is a blue register link right below the member login if you are not already registered. Look to the bottom of the registration from for the “new agent sign-up”.
Registering as an Agent with your Agency
To sign up under your Travel Agency – please fill out the New Agent Sign-up form.
Once your registration is confirmed, you are ready to roll. There are a number of search options but start with a location and dates and just search. Four different rates will be displayed:
Pre-Pay CCRA Net Rates
Internet Discount Rates
Promo GDS rates
CCRA Preferred.
Now go back just above where you searched the location and locate the link that says show me…Change this default medium search to a slower more complete search and see if it brings more and better results.
I chose San Diego as an example and it showed 253 hotels at the “medium search” and 346 hotel results from the slower search. If my math is right, which it almost never is…Thats about 37 % more hotel results using the slower search. Not very scientific, but you may consider using the slower search.
I like to search by Price and look for the three star hotels in the 2 star price range or some times the 4 star in the 2 star price range.
CCRAtravel also has a cash rewards program and weekly training. Every Pulaski Travel agent and every Goldrush Getaways agent should be using this tool.
